Our Cause
Raising Funds for Parkerville Grove School
For young people who’ve experienced trauma, learning can’t begin until healing does. Traditional schools often aren’t built to support this journey, leaving too many children disconnected, shut out, and at risk of falling through the cracks into homelessness, youth detention, poor mental health, or worse.
Parkerville Grove School is here to change that.
This groundbreaking new school will offer more than just education. It will be a safe and healing environment where young people can reconnect with learning, rediscover their strengths, and begin to shape the futures they deserve.
At the heart of this vision is CARE, Curriculum and Re-engagement in Education, a model designed specifically for children who need more than a classroom. The Parkerville CARE model brings together educators, trauma specialists, social workers, youth workers, and mental health professionals to create an integrated, therapeutic learning environment where every student is supported emotionally, socially, and academically.
Construction is already underway, and in July 2026, we aim to open Parkerville Grove School’s doors to students from Years 7 to 10.
But to make that vision a reality, and ensure every child walks into a space that meets their full potential, we need your help.
By attending the 2026 Parkerville Gala, you’ll help fund the school’s final development stages, specialised learning and wellbeing support, vital resources, and the wraparound services that remove barriers to education, so every student can heal, learn, and thrive.
